“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go…” ~ Dr. Seuss, Oh, the Places You’ll Go!
This Dr. Seuss quote is a great reminder that we have control over ourselves, our decisions, and our plans. We ought not to lay the responsibility on other people. Only we can think for ourselves.

How true this is! In many things, we need to give ourselves time and space before we make decisions. While some life changing events can happen in mere moments, there are a lot of things in life that need more deliberate action and thought. A lesson in patience and a test in character is to give yourself enough time to ponder on things.
I have come to the conclusion that the phrase “moving on” and its derivatives are some of the most overly used phrases in this life. That’s a clear testament to how life is. Things are in a constant state of flux. It is only a question of how you deal with it.
Moving on can mean so many things. Each person will have his own interpretation. However, it doesn’t really matter what specific issue/s you are dealing with. I think that at the end of the day, there are two things that count.
Your realizations. What have you learned from your circumstances?
Your plan. Are you willing to change for the better? What specific changes are you making?
