I have just returned from an extended trip (beach bum wannabe, that’s me), and while I was doing nothing, being lazy, a thought occurred to me…why not start sharing travel stories again (believe it or not, I had a pretty decent blog with lots of travel stories back in the day)? This time, though, focus on being a lazy traveler.
Because that’s what I am.
Let me just clarify—I am not being defensive, okay?—that while I might be the laziest traveler you can meet, I am a good, smart worker. (I told you, I am not being defensive. Just want to make sure you don’t get the wrong idea.)
First, what is a lazy traveler anyway?
She’s is someone who prefers to take a more relaxed approach to travel and may not prioritize seeing all the sights or engaging in adventurous activities. 🙋🏽♀️
She prefers to spend her time lounging on the beach, indulging in local cuisine, or simply taking it easy and enjoying my surroundings at a leisurely pace. 🙋🏽♀️
A lazy traveler might also opt for more convenient and comfortable accommodations 🙋🏽♀️, such as all-inclusive resorts or hotels with lots of amenities, rather than roughing it in hostels or camping. (Not really all-inclusive simply because they’re out of my budget, but hey, if I could afford it…!)
Ultimately, the definition of a lazy traveler can vary depending on the individual and their preferences. But, this lazy traveler is mostly the above.
So, what’s this series/category going to be about?
Travel stories…tales…thoughts…in words and pictures
Stories that don’t require a lot of energy to make, share, and read.
Because, you know…lazy traveler. 🥱
You may have noticed that I’ve used this photo before…well, do I have to repeat myself? Lazy traveler…
